I used Air Canada a few times and it is a very nice airline. But just this year when I was going to Barbados from Toronto and going back, you do have to pay for meals now but the drinks are free unless you want alcohol. Meals should be decent. Only good when you pay for the meal, you get a selection of which you want to eat. I remember seeing a woman who brought a sandwich on the plane as she did not want to buy on the plane. I always flew economy.

Flight entertainment is good. They would show some advertisements. A movie or two depending on length of flight time.

air canada is ok , seating is cramped as are all other airlines, food is soso.. tv screen in front of seat, movies and tv shows are generic.
bring ;
pen (forms need filling out)
book. mags. games
headset or buy cheaply on plane...
eye mask for sleeping..
earplugs if you need quiet..
its a long flight and you might want to sleep...

Air Canada is neglected a lot because it is compared to European Airlines and Asian Airlines. It was rated the best airline in North America. I had no problems with them. They're very safe and are very friendly. Seats differ in comfort but are a little better than average airlines. Food used to be free, but since the high price of gas, they had to charge money for that so don't be discouraged. (Your probably having problems with gas in your car if you have one). The entertainment I would say is decent which is why I always bring my favorite things to do on a plane like sleeping to my favorite music, reading books or magazines, draw or write, solving puzzles like crosswords, word searches or SuDuKu's, playing card games like solitaire (bring your own cards), a game-boy, D.S. or PSP and sleep. Sleeping is one of the best because time will fly and you will get rid of jet lag (WHICH IS SOOO ANNOYING).

i flew with air canada 10 years ago. all was good then, it was a nice new plane that had personal t.v's in the back of all the headrests! quite good for 10 years ago! do you think i'll fit in your suitcase?

depends if you are flying from a different continent and what class and if you are stopping over.... if you are flying directly lets say a three hour flight yea its good but if you are coming from europe or middle east and you have a stop over its not that great sitting in economy and plus i have lost my bags with air canada when stopping more than once

I flew Air Canada this summer. Nothing about it was very memorable, but the meal was included (unlike most American airlines, where you have to pay if you wanna eat -__-) There were movies you could watch from the tv on the back of the chair in front of you. I flew economy.
