Absolutely. When you pass through security, you will be required to remove the laptop from its bag and place it in its own bin to pass through the X-Ray machine. You can even use the laptop while in transit once the flight attendant clears you for using "portable electronic devices".
Whatever you do, NEVER CHECK A LAPTOP!! It will get damaged, almost with 100% certainty!

Yes you can take it in your carry-on bag. They will allow you to use it in flight after take off. You will be asked to turn it off just before landing.

Not only are you allowed to bring it as a carry-on, when above 10,000 feet you be allowed to use it!

I just recently traveled and carried my lap top on the plane with me. You just have to make sure that its turned off during take off and landings.

Yes, you can carry on your laptop. It will be checked at security to make certain that it is a lap top. No sweat.

yes carry on dont put it in the luggage thats bad. They may just check it to make sure it doesnt have terrorist intel on it but dont let them be mean to it/ put a big magnet over it lol.
