Airlines Treat Us SO BADLY....Taking Our Money? |
and providing the most crap service in the country! When are we going tog et toired of the US Airline Industry treating us so badly as paying customers.?
A woman dies in custody because she was tring to get on her plane????? Did they kill her?
No other business is so Rude, Aggressively Abusive--verbally and with our time and baggage. They just don't care at all about the customer. Losing our bags, and constant delays.
I am NOT going to take it anymore!
I am going to start taking trains, and automobiles, and foreign airlines, who still know how to treat its clientele.
F- the American Airline Industry.
What do you think we should do? |

I agree with you, especially on the US airlines.
But the international ones are awesome, I can't really complain about them, especially British Airways and Korean Airlines.
Anyway, within the US you can drive or take trains/buses. Internationally I'm more than happy to be seated in BA or KAL! |

I fly almost 100 times a year, about twice a week on average, and am never treated rudely. In the past couple of years, I've never been treated rudely, I've never had a flight delay of more than about 15 or 20 minutes, and I've never had my luggage get lost. I actually find that flying is quite pleasant |

I have only flown once(6/07) and it did not seem bad. I suppose a lot of the problems are due to the extra security we need to be protected from terrorists. |

Read the story straight!!!!
First, she was late at the gate, plane was leaving.
Second, airline had nothing to do with it. They just call security
Third, she was screaming like crazy in the terminal
Fourth, no one kill her, she strangle her-self !!!
Fifth, USAir booked her on the next flight, so why she went nuts???
AGAIN, CHECK THE STORY BEFORE MAKING STUPID COMMENT ON THIS SITE. |

Custody? Honey, that's not the airlines...that would be police. The lady was an irate customer..sorta sounds like you would be.. Anyways, she strangled herself trying to escape from her handcuffs...
Airlines treat you like "crap" because people like you are idiots. It's not the airline's fault 90% of the time they are late. There are over 4,000 planes flying around the sky at any given point in the US alone.... There aren't 4,000 major airports for them to fly to!! So that causes delays. Any fluctuation in the weather will cause a bigger delay.
Losing your bags, well that's just the risk you run when you check in. Because you're "special," I'll give you a hint that will help you avoid getting your bag misplaced...DON'T CHECK ONE IN!!
Go ahead, take a train or the Greyhound. By the time you get there, I would have sat in the terminal for 9 hours on a delay and have had my bags lost and returned to me.
Oh and by the way....Foreign airlines care about you as much as the gum on the bottom of their shoes. They are just worried about the bottom dollar!... |

Sorry for your bad flights I always fly Sun Country and they always treat me good. If the weather is bad and we can't leave they give us a free meal at the resturant in the air port.
On the plane you get free pop, free hot sandwich, and sometimes a cookie. They have never lost my luggage and it gets to us quickly. I go to sun country. com and book the flight my self and save good money. My mother even flies with them now they don't go every where but they seem to go all the places that I want to go. check them out and see what you think. when you book your flight you even can pick where on the plane you will sit. I like to be infront of the wings myself |

If only foreign carriers were allowed to fly US domestic routes. If a European airline lands in say, NY, then flies on to LA, they cannot pick up passengers in NY. Can you imagine how cool it would be to fly NY to LA on a jumbo jet and with good service and meals? Same with the Asian airlines landing in SF then on to say, DC. These huge planes are flying half empty!
The US airlines are bad cos they don't have real competition. |

I can't blame you for your sentiments. US airlines do have their fair share of complaints, just like any other business.
You said that you intend to take foreign airlines instead. Congratulations! That's a good alternative. Not only do foreign airlines provide exemplary inflight service, they also charge lower fares. As for domestic travel, trains like the Amtrak would be a welcome change. The travel time may be longer, but you get to see the countryside, which is not possible when you fly.
Be that as it may, I'm sure there are a lot of other Americans who echo your opinion. Whatever your final decision may be, go for it! |
