it's all a fallacy spread by the airlines.
first and business class on most airlines are comfortable and "fun"
but if you're in "steerage", basically, you're stuck in a cramped uncomfortable seat with a screaming baby or a kicking kid behind you.
what matters is the vacation that awaits at the end of the runway.

Hooters Airlines- beautiful women, great food.

1) PAL (Philippine Airlines) - no language barrier since all flight attendants speak good English minus the heavy accent
2) Cathay - each seat has its own TV monitor.

well id say you fly first class on any airline it should be fun. I'd say you'll get the best experience. Stop at JFK and try JET AIRWAYS FIRST CLASS SUITES!!!!!!

Airlines these days are the same as it is big buisness more now than ever. And after countless of attacks on airports and aircraft, the 'funness' has been taken out of air travel unfortunatly. It is still exciting when you board and as you taxi and the engines fire up, when you land ect. but now the threat of the 'event' crosses everyones mind at some stage during a flight which get some people edgey.

That us how it is unfortunatly as it used to be a lot funner! I remember when I was let into the cockpit of a 737! So much fun but since 9/11, so many more restrictions are in place.

poopeinstein, there is lots of airlines with planes that have TV's in the back of seats, they are fitted in all 747-400 and many other types of aircraft

i dunno if Cathay Pacific would travel this route LA to Hong Kong, then to Beijing but Cathay Pacific is good to try! i love their "go the extra mile" service provided by the crew!

I know you've already been on it but I reckon Singapore Airlines is by far the best. But Cathay Pacific is also pretty good.
