It depends on what kind of aircraft it is, if it is configured as a charter or standard aircraft, and the airline. Most wide body aircraft have between 12 to 24. Smaller aircraft's have between 8- 18. A lot of airlines are making more room for the coach class, either to put in more seats or to offer more leg room so it can affect the space on the entire aircraft.

depends what kind of plane - always different one type/serie to each other....

For example:
Thai Airways Boeing 777-200
Business Class (they don't have First Class 30 seats (with lay-flat seats)
economy 279 seats

Singapore Airlines Boeing 777-200 versi 1
First Class12 seats (with flatbed&bulkhead)
Business/raflesclass 42 seats
Economy 234 seats

It depends on the size of the plane, a boeing 727 has about 18 first class seats.

What kind of plane? Give a make or model, because it differs.

If you are curious about a particular flight, try going to the airline website. Some airlines have 'seat maps' linked to the flights so people can choose where they sit.

On a Boeing 737 (thats a common plane) there is at least 12 first-class seats.

That depends mostly on the size of the airplane, plus each airline has their own seating layout. A small to mid-sized airliner would have between 8-16 first class seats. A widebody could have from 25-50 first class seats, or in the case of a 747 or the new Airbus A380 even more. On a United 747-400 there are 14 first class and 73 business class seats in addition to the 260 economy seats.
