I'm glad that we are extra protected now. It might take a few minutes more to get to the gate, but at least I can be assured that whoever wants to cause harm won't get through the security check. As for food and friendly crew, I don't know what airlines you've been traveling with, but they are superb on the European airlines. |

The best airline to travel with, if you are security conscious is El Al - they really make you feel protected!!
Things seem a little more relaxed this year - like you can take two pieces of hand luggage from some airports (Heathrow but not Gatwick) and Customs seemed more laid back about your little plastic bags and contents.
I fly several times a year and have no problem with the security checks. |

I think it's a huge pain but needed. I have flown many times prior to our new crazy world. You have also missed friendly crew and full meals. If you are going to fly, please don't bring any expensive face/ body creams... they will be thrown away. |

Its not really that bad. Just put all your travel-size liquids in a plastic bag, and go through a metal detector. I'll easily do that for a safe plane ride. |

i think that the precautions they take are necessary even if they are time consuming and who cares if it takes a few more minutes to get to ur gate at least you will get to where you need to be in one piece... I am just glad I don't fly much |

They make you go thorugh a lot of procedures that sometimes aren't too effective. For example one time, my friends brought an open water bottle in by accident. |

i was only 6 but i feel safer now, it didnt bother me back then but since all these bomb scares etc i feel really safe. i couldnt even take a roll on deodrant in my hand luggage in march its that strict :| |
