Don't worry, this is a very common fear.
Did you know that flying is actually safer then driving? It is one of the safest means of transportation possible.
Also, all of those items are fine in your checked bag, but they are not allowed in your carry-on |

Dont be scared, youve more chance being killed on the way to the airport than the plane crashing. Anyway if it does at least you get your face in the paper and a memorial plaque somewhere. I think the limit is 100ml of liquid in your jand luggage. It is in the UK anyway. Much Love |

i was just on a plane last week...do this...dont take razors at all! put the shampoo, cond, toothpaste and perfume in your check bag. dont even hastle with taking it on board, much less stress. you can take lipgloss on the plane. the idea is this. any liquids must be 3oz or less in a clear container in a clear quart size bag. so i just put all the stuff in my check bag and took like extra clothes in my carry on just in case. and wear comfortable shoes that are easy to get off and on. dont wear alot of jewlery, any metal-belts,watches, necklaces may make the buzzer go off so dress simple so you get in and out quick. hope that helps and dont be nervous, i was nervous too but then i just think that they do this stuff day in and day out 365 days of the year. |

you can put all of that stuff in your checked bag but not your hand bag but the key thing to remember if you are scered planes are the safest mod of transport you are in more danger on the bus or in the car and if anything planes are safer since 9/11 cause airport security is so much stricter and stronger |

There is no reason to be afraid, america is the safest country , and besides, i doubt there will be another terrorist attack. We have flown hundreds of times after 9/11 and I haven't encountered not even one situation where i felt my safety was in danger. And you are allowed anything in your check in bag that is. But as far as carry on's go you should not bring any type of razors, or sharp blades or large amoints of liquids. SO DONE BE SCARED ! Have fun in Cancun :) |

your cannot bring any liquids on a plane or razors and stuff like the no tooth past or jells
and you shouldn't be scar 1 in a million planes go down and my dad is on a new plane every week for the past 12 years and nothings happened to him so this one time you take the plane i sure nothing will happen. |

Make sure you have lots of time at the airport. For international travel they say to be there 3 hours before hand. Make sure there are no 'weapons' and liquids in your carry on. At the airport there will be signs of what you can and can't bring on board, that will give you time to take some stuff from your carry on to put in your checked baggage. |

None of that is allowed on the plane. You will not die, planes are very safe. You can read how to survive in plane crashes, etc. online. I reccomend the podcast on how to survive plane crashes from the stuffyoushouldknow podcast on itunes. |

There's nothing to be afraid of.. it's quite fun actually (well that's what i think) As for things you need to bring: NO LIQUIDS! you will be asked to throw them away when you get to security. I don't think they'll let you have a razor.. they made a problem out of my metal nail file! they said i could possibly stab someone.. >: |

Cancun is fantastic you will love it! Don't worry about the plane, they are considered to be the safest way to travel. Put all that stuff in your suitcase because security doesn't allow you to take it in your hand luggage, I know that this applies in England. Don't worry about the plane just look forward to the holiday! |

I hate to fly -- I hated it even before 9/11. But I still do it fairly frequently.
Honestly, my solution is funny videos on my ipod and several vodka tonics.
You can have all that stuff in your checked luggage -- it's your carry-on that they don't want you to have liquids in. |

don't be scared it's the safest way to travel.. and if you are to nervous stop at the airplane bar and get really drunk :D that should help |

Step1Accept that it is unlikely you can conquer your fear of flying without help.
Step2Get counseling or join a group. Since fear of flying is such a common phobia, many excellent clinics are available to help you. Look in the yellow pages under 'Clinics,' 'Mental Health Services' or 'Psychologists.'
Step3Read a book. Countless books are devoted to overcoming the fear of flying. Most include instructions on special breathing and relaxation methods and other helpful techniques.
Step4Buy a tape. Some fear-of-flying programs are on tape so you can listen to instructions for relaxation and breathing.
Step5Have confidence that you can succeed. Even the most serious fears about flying can be conquered with proper treatment and hard work.
Step6Ask your physician for a prescription drug to relax you when you must fly, if all else fails. Keep in mind, however, that most professionals believe you can conquer this fear without medication. |

It has to be 3 ounces. Check with the airline you are traveling on to see the restrictions for carry on. You can put most anything in a checked bag. You cannot lock it so that way if they need to check it, they can.
We all have fears. They have more security measures now than they did then. Have faith that everything will be okay. You have equal chances of having bad things happen on the ground. Don't let the fear take over. You letting the fear of 911 rule, that is giving them more power. Give your fears to God. He can handle all of them.
Have fun on your vacation. |

Go online and check the carry on bags. I think they have to be in plastic bags so they don't spill. Don't worry. You're safer in a plane than you are in a car. |

Buy it for under a tenner from Amazon. |

it is as safe at it has ever been you have nothing to worry about..you can take all that stuff as long as you check your bag.if not no razors and your liquids have to be in bottles less than 3 oz if you wanna do carry on. |

Anything can go in your checked in bag(not your carry on.) as for your carry on, you can't take water bottles. You shouldn't be scared because I just went to India AND England this year from MICHIGAN!!! I'm a world traveller, and if you're going to Cancun from somewhere in the US or Canada, you are all good. Just walk on the airplane like you're walking into Algebra 2. :P Good luck! Planes are fun to land in!!! :D Now they have better security, so please don't worry. |

Don't worry. Look how many flights there are each day and you may only hear of something happening once a month if that often.
Go to the TSA website and they have what you can bring on the plane. You have to have a certain kind of lock for your luggage too.
its under what to know before you go.

Have fun. |

you can put anything in luggage you check in, but no liquids or scissors etc in hand luggage.
I wouldn't worry about flying. I flew on my own on September 11th (same year as 9/11) and was terrified! don't worry, it'll be fine. |

If it makes you feel any better, facts state that more people get killed by donkeys than by airplane crashes.
September 11th was caused not exactly by airplane malfunction.
everything you included in your list is okay, except for a razor;
if you bring that, they confiscate it |
|

just stop being a baby, get on, and enjoy the ride >:)
lol nothing to worry about. they've increased the safety and security since then. |
