Hello,
You may bring just about any food with you on planes. I have linked you to the TSA's page on prohibited items incase you have anymore questions!

If you are talking about taking bagels on the plane - yes, you can certainly do that.

da_zoo_keeper
You may have some trouble getting them on the plane in a carry on! Double wrap them in Ziploc (because every-things and garlic will stink up the plane and you luggage) and stow them in your checked bags! Get a dozen.....forget the cream cheese and Lox.....bon appetite!!!!

Best way to solve your problem is call the airport and talk to Security and see what they have to say about your Bagels..

notyou311
Yes, you can take them.

thecaptaintony
dry food like that is fine, just no liquid.

You should be okay because it's just food and you can even put it in your carry on luggage depending on the amount of bagels. Only in internationals flights I think there would be issues.

Best way for you to get them in that state is basically put it in your checked luggage... Make sure to put them in a plastic bag or a box to prevent it from getting squished... It's a cooked product so it's pretty much fine... I don't see any issues there... Good luck and boun appetit to your friend.

Toffy
Place them in a clear ziplock bag and take them with you dont check them thru....you should be just fine.

?
they will put things through the x-ray machines.

hip lady wants YA fixed
you can take those on the plane but put them in an air tight plastic bag. as long as they see that they are bagels they won't take them away. the best place to find out is call the air line that you are going to use.

Calm
As long as you don't get the ones with the poppy seeds you will be good to go.

Bunny
as long as its not in a tin i think your good. your best bet is a clear plastic baggie.

check them in your baggage --- DON'T carry them on!

you can always ship them ahead of time too...
