Yeah, I did last year when we took our kids on vacation. You can always double check w/ the flight attendant first, just to play it safe.

Sorta. You aren't supposed to have any electronics on, which means no camera, unless you are using a disposable one. But taking photos on the plane should not be a problem. I would caution you against using a camera at the airport.

of course - the only deveices the ailines frown on are devices which mess with the communication functions. (cell phones, etc.)

yeah

My Dad took photos of EVERY SINGLE THING we did on holiday two years ago - flights included. He took pictures of the food, the flight attendants (he did ask), the toilets (!), his new mate on his left, the clouds... And nobody said a thing. Fortunately his battery went flat about half way through.

sure can

Yes you can but you need to respect the other people that may not want to be in the picture.

As for the answer about not wanting pictures of the cockpit, that is not true. We have pictures of our kids sitting the pilots seat pretending to fly the plane. It was on the ground so the door was still open. I fly every week and have seen tourists ask and be allowed to take flight deck pictures.

There is nothing secret in the cockpit. Any flight simulator or merely going to the aircraft company web sites can get you pictures and schematics for the cockpit so there is no security issue there.

Yes, but not when boarding the airplane at the airport or before takeoff. Pretty sure the same holds for arriving.

Yes, you are. Just try not to take pics of other people.

Yes ..... they only frown on a person taking pictures of the cockpit.
