All of those are fine. To be safe, I would put the lipgloss and powder into a 1-qt Ziploc bag with any other liquids/gels that you might be carrying on; if there are no others, just put those 2 things in the baggie and send it through x-ray by itself. I know that the lipgloss is supposed to go through in the baggie.
The umbrella is fine - they are allowed as carry-on items per the TSA policies.
Your cell phone is fine, but will need to be turned off from the time the cabin door is closed on the plane until the plane lands. You can use it in the airport and you can use it on the plane until boarding is done, and then again on the plane as soon as it lands.
Your iPod is also fine, and you'll be able to use it from about 15 minutes after takeoff until about 15 minutes before landing.
There are no issues with your hairbrush or tissues. |

I believe you can take everything except an umbrella on a plane. I think that has to be in luggage. You can bring your electronics, but sometimes you aren't aloud to use it until a specified time. I hope you enjoy yourself in Greece. It's very very fun! I was there a little while back. Have fun... |

all those things should be legit minus the umbrella...that might be better off in your luggage. Powder makeup usually isn't even looked at and lip gloss should also be safe. I take my ipod and phone on every plane trip. Tissues....if you can hurt someone with them, you deserve a medal. Hairbrush...I don't consider it dangerous and I've never heard of anyone getting it taken. |

Sure, all those things are perfectly fine. Its any liquids that they have a problem with. |

The only two things that have a slight chance of not making it are the two make-up items. |

1. OK
2. OK
3. OK - but since it can look like a liquid on the x-ray, you might want to handle it as such.
4. OK
5. OK
6. OK - unless some overzealous secuirty person sees it as a club.
7. Handle it as a liquid, which means put it in the ziplock bag with your shampoo, etc., and send the bag through the x-ray separately. |

All are fine to pack to take on the plane, although the cell phone must be turned off while in flight. |

All electronics have to be off I'm pretty sure, but they are allowed on the plane. Everything else sounds fine. |

Yes, but since you are going to Greece, I would call the airline to confirm with your carrier. |

Mobile phone and I Pod yes, but you will have to keep them OFF while in the airport or on the plane. Makeup maybe iffy since they do not allow you to carry on things like that. Tissues and a hairbrush you should be fine with. An umbrella is not likely unless you pack it in your luggage.
I'd call your carrier and check with them to be certain before you board. The make up may stand a chance of making it in regular checked luggage if it is a brand new, unopened and sealed package in your regular suitcase and luggage that you check. |

you can totally bring those things on the plane!! I just got back from paris a week ago and i brought my new laptop, my ipod and my cell. If you need to plug something in on the flight, and if its AmericanAirlines, you can bring a car plug thing that allows you to plug stuff in in the car. It was a life-saver!!! |
