Yes, but make sure you don't bring water or put any liquid in your hand-luggage (anything like nail varnish) |

You can, but the last 3 times I've flown I tried to write with a pen (a different one each time) and it leaked all over my hand. Could have to do with the reduced air pressure in the cabin (it's pressurized only to about 8000') or could just be a coincidence. |

You should check the website of the airlines that you'll be flying with. They give you all the information there. I do know that you're allowed to bring pens for sure, and normally they allow you to put some liquid things in a normal ziplock bag. Of course, electronics and all that is cool, too. I do know you can't bring scissors, even if they have the children safety tip. |
