i've flown southwest and the seats are weird colors of leather but they are pretty comfy! you dont have assigned seats just sections like a,b and c. you wanna b in like a cause thats at the front of the plane i think. when i flew southwest its was pretty spiffy! lol

Southwest has the best pricing, but you have to look like it as if your are getting on a flying bus..just get on..buckle up. There are no frills or entertainment.. it truly is like taking a bus ride only in the air.

The experiences I have had with Southwest have always been exceptional!! Of course, you need to arrive at the airport 2 1/2 to 3 hours before your flight to check in, get through security and get up to the gate for your boarding pass. The flight attendants are always very friendly and very helpful!!! The seating is not assigned and you can sit anywhere you want. The other thing you might want to look into is their television show "Airline". You can see what they do on a daily basis.

They are alright. I think they have been starting to assign seats, so that would be an improvement over how they used to do things which required you to get there early to get a decent seat. They are a lot cheaper than most airlines and I have never had an awful experience with them. I think you should give them a chance.

They are great. But take your own snacks if possible. They don't have much. They are the cheapest and fastest for what you are looking for tho.

my grandma travels a lot & she uses southwest airlines. i went with her on onee of her trips, they are good.
