You can try a couple different ways...
Go to Yahoo travel put in your cities, dates and preferences and then you can look at what airlines go nonstop or have good connections and go directly to their websites. I believe Continental has nonstop Newark Amsterdam flights. You can also try www.expedia.com or www.hotwire.com(Hotwire will give you the rate but will not tell you what airlines until you buy the flight but they use all major airlines, I have used them times)
Or you can use the good old fashioned yellow pages and find a travel agency that specializes in Europe or better yet Amsterdam |

You could try kayak.com, but really, with this amount of advance purchase, any of the online travel sites would be fine.
Orbitz is offering a deal wherein if the ticket price goes down after you book it, they will refund you the difference up to $250. At least, they were a few months ago; you could double check.
That's them doing the work for you. You could also watch the prices yourself; most airlines will do the refund as well as long as you request it two weeks before departure. |

I always look at www.Orbitz.com and www.Cheaptickets.com. I just found a flight for $1219.23 on Orbitz. This is using United Airlines, and SAS. You aren't going to find flights much cheaper. On Cheaptickets, it is the same price. Good luck... |
