marginally better than ryanair. just a bus with wings.

confucious says
in response to one answer I can state that it is impossible for EASYJET TO overbook one of their aircraft due to the computerised booking system so that answer is completely wrong
you get exactly what you pay for on easyjet travel from one place on the planet to another at very little cost
99.9%of passenger problems are created by the passengers themselves.

yeah there great fly with them most of the time

Yes flew with them to Cologne for the Xmas Markets didn`t have a problem, there were 8 of us and we managed to sit together both ways. Pity I can`t say the same for the hotel, but that is another story

They are just a cheap airline, you will get what you pay for.

Budget travel! No luxury.

Nickname is squeezyjet - cos they squeeze you all on!

They are a cheap short haul airline, and good enough for that. Miles better than Ryanair, so if you want a cheap flight near you, go Easyjet.

Their customer care isn't great. If you fly with them, take any food and drink you may want as it costs a fortune on board, and if they lose your suitcase, don't expect any help or compassion from them. For cheap short haul they're ok though, like a bus in the sky! Oh, if you do choose to fly easyjet, make sure you arrive in plenty of time to check in, as they are notorious for being extremely strict, even if the plane is delayed.

I've flown with them a number of times. They're good once you know the system. Book early for the best fare and check in early to be first in the scramble to get on board - and bring your own sandwiches.

Easyjet and Ryanair do not compare in any way with the "established" airlines, but they get you there in one piece relatively cheaply. You do not have a reserved seat, so it is first come first served, and the seats are rigid and non-reclining with minimum leg-room. Take your own food as nothing is provided in your fare - food is served, but it is expensive and not very appetising. Drinks also have to be purchased - even tea and coffee - at a premium price. Do also check your luggage allowance - Ryanair only allow you 15 kg hold luggage, and I was charged £5 for just one kg excess weight on a trip back from Spain. They will do if you are not in the air for a long time and are not too tall, but it is a case of you get exactly what you pay for. These airlines have set air travel standards back some 50 years, but they provide a cheap service which is what most people want. I feel for the cabin crew, as they have to clean the plane as well as look after the passengers. They turn round in well under an hour, so the crew's lives must be manic.
