I'm assuming you mean other than taking a relaxer. Take some deep breaths and then start to look around at all the interesting aspects of flying-the people(who are they? where are they going?) notice other planes going in and out- watch how the luggage is loaded and unloaded-notice all the different types of jobs there are in an airport etc. |

Breathe deep and slow, know that planes can glide on engine failure, and pilots have a backup plan if something goes wrong, and if you experience a bunch of turbulence (if through a hurricane or something) that the plane can easily take the beating, engines and all

Hi,,, sure is ,, go to your doctor and get a script for xanax,, or chlonopin,,, you dont have to have a whole bottle of it,, just a few.. it will take the edge off and you will be fine....

You can always listen to soothing music or take to relaxer pills. I wouldnt reccomend the pills though. BUHANA KNOWS ALL |

I have found it very therapeutic for me just visualizing how many airplanes take off and land in a busy airport. But since the airport is very far away from where I live I have found this website very helpful. |

I know exactly how You feel. I love the places I have been to, but getting there by plane is a pisser. I don't drink. Anyway that causes alot of problems at airports. You don't need that! I take a book along, and some candy to chew/suck on. It also is better to fly with a friend/family.
