Approximately how much would it cost to change a flight after the ticket is already bought?

there are so many fares with so many rules it's difficult to give a blanket statement
usually changes are permitted in North American for approx $100.00 plus any difference in fare
for international travel it could be $200-$300.00 plus any fare difference
some tickets internationally do not permit any changes
if the ticket is already bought why not just contact the source of purchase and get it from the source?

It's generally around $100 plus the difference in fare from when you purchased the ticket, to what it would cost to buy at the time you change the tickets....which could be a lot!

It depends on the airline and the type of ticket. If you bought fully-refundable ticket, there's no cost to change or cancel the flight.

well if it's ata you are out of luck. other airlines charge about 75 bucks to change times and days.
