They aren't to loud but, sit as far away from the middle (where the jets are) and as far away from the back (engine) becuase they are loud. Strive for the firt row and it won't be so bad. |

Some people use the noise-canceling headphones. |

That's an open end question. Depends if your flying an DC-9 (VERY LOUD), to a A330 (Quiet). So all in all, it depends on the type of aircraft you are flying on. |

They are relatively quite inside and do not give you at elast unbearble headaches. Don't worry fly and enjoy.* |

If you aren't sitting next to a wing, it's fine- you don't hear anything at all. They're very peaceful sometimes, actually :) |

ON the inside-yes.
There is some noise vibrations like when they raise or lower the landing gear, reverse the engines to help slow down when landing, other than that they are very quiet. |

they are actually quite loud but the worst thing your gonna get on an airoplane is air sickness or ear acke but u can stop ear acke if u chew chewing gum as much as possible on the flight and hardly anyone gets air sickness anymore XD |

Depends on the aircraft type. rear mounted engines ( MD 80,87, DC-9 and Regional Jets CRJ/ERJ) keep to the front. Wing mounted try to stay in front of the wing as the thrust is to the rear. The EMB 170/190 are RJ with wing mounted engines |
