Are air buses safe to fly?

We are getting last minute tickets to go to Cancun Mexico in January.
I'm really nervous about going on an air bus because we decided to go right away since my husband just got his vacation for this year. Are the air buses safe? I've never been on one.

I am a pilot in trainig and I have been on both Airbuses and Boeings.Airbuses are safer and much more comfortable.Enjoy your self, you will be fine.(P.S.Watch out for the vampires in Mexico.I hear they can be nasty :)

If you didn't realise it was actually 'Airbus' then you probably won't be able to notice any difference.

yeah of course. There just large passenger airplanes. also its not hard to survive a plane crash just listen to instructions really carefully and read that manual thingy.

Airbus and Boeing both build excellent aircraft. You need not hesitate to fly on the airplanes of either manufacturer.

I personally give Boeing the edge when it comes to safety, but since air travel is so extraordinarily safe overall, this is mostly an academic distinction based on various technical details. It's a bit like discussing who makes the best refrigerators, when in fact just about any refrigerator these days will last for 30-40 years, no matter who made it.

Airbus is one, if not the safest aircraft maker in the world. They have a range of aircraft from the A300 right up to the big A380.

Dont worry, you will make it in one piece.

Although less common in the US, Airbuses are as safe, if not safer, than Boeing and McDonald Douglas aircraft. Dont worry, you will be on one of the safest aircraft in the world.

Quite frankly they are very alike - Boeing and Airbus. If you don't pay attention to the safety demo ("the aircraft you are traveling on today is a ......") and aren't an airline enthusiast you probably couldn't spot the difference.

Airbus is another major brand along Boeing. It's nothing to worry about. Airbus are very safe aircraft, if not safer, than Boeing.

Though then again, if you were born on a plane and somehow managed to survive and the plane had infinite fuel, it would take about 80 years before something happened and about 13,000 before you came down in a big fireball.

Too bad Sky Bus declared bankruptcy it's first week of opening here in NC otherwise I'd of given it a whirl and been able to give you feedback on it!
