Get yourself a travel pillow. You can find them at target, walmart, etc and they aren't that expensive. I have one that inflates...the best thing about it is when you are not using it, you can deflate it and stick it into your bag. When you need it, inflate it.
If you plan on bringing 1 main carry on item as well as 1 smaller carry on item AND a pillow...technically, they can tell you it's not allowed. If you only have 1 carry on...and you want your regular size pillow, then bring it with you if you need to. If you are sitting in economy...just keep in mind that the seats aren't that big, and you don't want your full size pillow hanging over into someone else's face!! |

you should prolly just invest in a travel pillow.
small enough to fit in any carry-on bag.

There was a news item the other night that one of the airlines was charging $7 for a pillow and a blanket. And thats only renting them. |

You can carry on pillows without any problems, and they will not count as luggage. In fact, it is a good idea to carry on your own pillow because even though airlines provide small pillows, I have been on an international flight that did not have enough pillows for all passengers. The attendants on this flight attempted to satisfy my request for a pillow by substituting a rolled up blanket. |

Yes they are allowed. I don't recommend using the airline pillows, since other people have used them also. |

I think so but usually even the cheapest airlines have free travel pillows that aren't so bad. |

Why do you want to carry a pillow? They already have some on board. But if you have something special, they wouldn't say anything. It is not actually in the list of carry on items, but no problem. |
