Are there still any restrictions for what you can bring on a plane? |
The last time I traveled by air (summer 2006) there was an issue with bringing liquids like hair products and such. Is this still true? What kind of cosmetics, hair, and beauty products am I prohibited from bringing, if any? What do I need to do?

There is that 311 rule... nothing more than 3oz( toiletry stuff), 1 quart size clear plastic bag and 1 carry on per person. and nothing sharp...

There's a limit on size. But you can bring liquids for beauty products, except bottled water. You just have to buy bottled water when you pass the security. Please see the link on the travel guidelines on the sizes of stuff can bring. If your stuff exceeds the required size, you have to check it in or throw or have them mail it to you.

Yes there are still restrictions. Basically it still is no liquids unless you have bought them at the departure side at the airport.
It also depends on where you are travelling, some countries/airlines rule differ.
On the plus side you are allowed to take more handluggage than before.
Just watch out for liquids, make up, no more than 100mls of product.
No hairspray, tweezers or scissors. If you wear contacts lenses you can carry these if the solution is in the lens cases. |

No. Not at all.. Bring anything you want on a plane.. lol... I believe they did lessen the restrictions on liquids, but you'll find out when they check your bags |
