You can do it in the US and Canada. Many airport restaurants provide this kind of stuff. Remember you can't bring drinks through security, but can bring food. You can usually buy this kind of thing after security.

Yes and you can even take your food through security. However any liquids will need to be purchased after you have passed through security. Many airlines do charge for food once onboard the flight. Continental Airlines is one of the few airlines that still serves free food and drink at mealtimes if the length of the flight permits.

yes, and a lot of airports have fast food in the terminals past the security checkpoints. I know from experience that at the DFW and Baltimore airports, the cost is the same as the outside fast food places. The airlines don't really serve food so they let you bring anything that is permitted through security on board.

Yes, no liquid over 3oz unless you purchase it inside security.

Absolutley- They expect you to feed yourself. Most airlines do not offer meals anymore.

yes, you can't bring it from home though, b/c they'll make you throw it out at the metal detectors. but after the detectors, you can buy it and bring it on board.
