People are only scared to fly because the media blows it out of proportion every time a plane crashes. Truth of the matter is air travel is the second safest form of transportation next to elevators. according to the NTSB you are 7 times more likely to die in a car accident on youre way to The airport then to die in the plane itself. yet we ll get in are cars and drive like its a second nature thing to do USALLY WITHOUT EVEN THINKING ABOUT IT. So just remember next time you fly if its you re day to bite the bullet and you made it all the way to the airport you have nothing to fear. With that being said I actually love to fly and enjoy the view from miles above the earth

No, I love traveling by plane. Espechially on Airtran Airways, because their flight-attendants are amazing.

The flights aren't so bad, except that the seats are made for Barbie butts. I'm more anxious about all the pre-boarding security stuff now .

I used to be. I only just get a little nervous on take off. Landing is my favorite part of flying.

When we're taking off, I scream inside my head, like, 'WHY DID I AGREE TO GO ON AGAIN? HOW WAS I ACTUALLY /EXCITED/ FOR THIS!?' Then, we're up in the air and I remember why I like it so much. But I do get a little nervous flying over water, because my biggest fear is drowning.

Right after 9/11 I thought about it - briefly. But I also fly a lot. Last year I was on 42 flights. Sunday I'm flying to British Columbia.

I am more concerned about being comfortable on the plane. I have my eye cover so I can sleep. I carry some power bars with me in case I'm starved. I have a book. I take a toothbrush on the plane with me - as long as I can brush my teeth I can cope with a lot.

I know not everyone is comfortable flying, but it starts with that and then moves on. Soon you're afraid of driving or walking or leaving the house. Living in fear, isn't living.
