Ofcourse you can, call the airline ahead to double check but since you are allowed to bring non-loaded real fire arms in your check-in baggage I am sure they will let you take have your air soft gun in your checked baggage. But call the airline ahead of time to double check and tell them before you check you bags, and watch you bag go through security incase they want to double check it.
But again you are allowed to bring a real gun in your checked baggage I am sure your allowed to take a fake one too.

It will be fine in your checked luggage, but you should check with the airline or TSA to see if you need to make any special preparations for it. You should probably make sure that it's unloaded.
Weapons are, for the most part, fine in your checked luggage (unless they're otherwise illegal, such as a sawed off shotgun), but certain weapons need to be declared with the airline. You just can't have a weapon in your carry-on.
