Are you allowed to bring baked goods, like oat meal raisin squares on an airplane with you?

They would be individually wrapped in paper towels & in a plastic bag in my backpack.
Additional Details
Oatmeal is a compound word.

Bring your Oatmeal Raisin Squares and enjoy them...It's totally not a problem. And no, you don't need to check them in your luggage.

lovetoday
yes-but if you are going through customs depending on the country they might not allow it into the country.

LaLa
I just had visitors from an international flight and they brought cookies and other baked goods as well. I think she put them in her checked-in bag though. It should be okay since it's liquids that they are more worried about but call the airport and double check before going.

sure cause who could possibly think of putting a bomb in there cookies there is a time to blow yourself up but not when oatmeal raisin squares are involved and dont think for a minute that the bomb sniffing dog would like one of those for a treat and after u eat all them cookies save the paper towels cause when u gotta poop the t/p on them airlines is kiinda rough and the plastic bag incase u gotta puke cause those barf bags they give u are paper and they tend to leak

YES! If it is on a domestic flight you can pretty much bring any food you desire (oatmeal).

If you are going to Hawaii than you have to be careful because some foods are not permitted into Hawaii (apples, etc.).

I think it will be fine. I was able to bring some food onboard during my last domestic trip. Just put them in your backpack.

I have experienced varying degrees of confiscation, so try it if you can risk losing them.

I know someone who carries a pocket knife that she mistakenly had in her purse when she went through security to board a plane, but they neglected to notice that because they were too busy confisgating her large tube of toothpaste!

Don't try to slip anything illegal into those squares because drug sniffing dogs are used almost everywhere.

I think the best thing is to check with the Air Line, they have a section on their web site that will tell you what is legal. I always pay the extra price and buy things that are for sale at the airport, after you go through the security check.

well,I heard that people can't do that, but my friend got inside the plane with a few peanut butter sandwiches wrapped in paper towels,I never brought anything like that since I also thought that I wouldn't be able to,but since she was able to do it,then I am not sure anymore
