You can't buy duty free anywhere within the EU so unless Scotland suddenly decides to remove itself, unfortunately duty is still applied. :-( |

Ok , you can buy duty free at EDI airport, but because you are flying to LGW (Gatwick IATA code)... you will not have any VAT removed... Because you are flying domestic. If it would have been outside EU (European Union), then you would have had the VAT removed (Duty free).

Gatwick is just outside London, Edinburgh is in Scotland BUT they're both in the United Kingdom
