Are you allowed to carry a razor on board UK domestic flights as cabin baggage?

Does anyone know if you can carry a razor (Gillette Fusion Power if it matters...lol) on board UK domestic flights as I want to avoid checking baggage in to the hold to save time if possible but I need my razor so if anyone can advise if it is allowed or not that would be great??

No you cant have it in your hand luggage but you can in your other cases that you dont carry on the aircraft. If they find it in your hand luggage they will take it from you lol so dont carry 1 with you on the plan

Check with the Airline you are flying with. Some allow it, others don't.

no dear, dont even think of it.

Yes you can carry this in your hand luggage but you will not be able to take shaving foam or gel or any liquids in containers bigger than 100mls. you can now buy these small sizes which are allowed to be carried in aircraft hand luggage. Put them in a small sealable plastic bag and show them at the security check.

Rshampsh has the right idea, there are some 'borderline' objects, so if it is that important, check with the airline.

There is an easy alternative if you fly often and that's to buy a travelling electric shaver.

Actually you can depending on the type of razor, if it is a covered blade then it is fine (you know the ones with the wire type thing across to stop from cutting the skin). I'm not sure what the fusion power is like but if you wanna avoid checking baggage then get the type i have just explained. If in doubt buy from Boots after security as the only retail those types i think.

Snorkie
No they will take it

No you can't. My friend even had tweezers checked for sharpness when we flew in the summer.
