I would make sure to have all liquids in your checked baggage. You are allowed to carry drinks if they are 6 ounces or less (like that really even helps if you are thirsty). |

Yes but its 100m limit for each bottle you take on, they give you a plastic bag before you go through the scanner to pop all you liquids and things in. |

You can only take bottles of 100ml or less. You can't take bigger bottles that are partly used. Any bottles you buy after security, from the shops in the departure lounge is allowed. No surprise that they don't seem in a hurry to change things - they must be making a fortune. |

You can take those liquids if you carry them in a transparent resealable plastic bag. The liquids must be no greater than 100mls in volume. They must be put through the security check too obviously. |

Yes you can. I wear daily contact lenses and use a small liquid comfort lotion. You couldn't take these last year but I have been through twice this year to Spain and all you have to do is put your spare lenses and solution in a clear plastic zip top bag to show at security. No problem at all. Last year it was different and I had to pack my box of lenses in my hold luggage and then worry whether it would arrive. It did, but if it had been lost, I would have had a problem. I actually contacted Manchester Airport about this issue in May and found it was now OK to take them in hand baggage but in a clear bag to show at security check. |

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is advising the following:
* Containers with less than 3 ounces or less of liquids, gels or aerosols may now be placed in carry-on baggage, carried through the screening checkpoint and carried on board the aircraft.
o Items must be placed and fit comfortably in a single (1) transparent resealable 1 quart (1 liter) plastic bag.
o The bag must be sealed shut and presented to TSA at the screening checkpoint so it can be X-rayed separately.
* Quantities of liquids, gels or aerosols greater than 3 ounces are not allowed and must be placed in checked baggage.
* If purchased after the security checkpoint, items including beverages (such as coffee, tea, soft drinks, water), shampoo, suntan lotion, creams, toothpaste, hair gel, hair spray and other aerosols, liquid cosmetics, and other items of similar consistency may be brought on board the aircraft.
Passengers may also continue to take the following items through the security checkpoint and onboard their plane but must declare to TSA at the screening checkpoint - the following items if they are not contained in a clear transparent resealable 1 quart (1 liter) size plastic bag and/or are over 3 oz. (90ml):
* Baby formula/milk and small containers of baby food if a baby or small child is traveling,
* Prescription and essential non-prescription medications that are liquid, gel, or aerosols., including eye drops, contact lens solution and cough syrup,
* Liquids (including juice) or gels for diabetic or other medical needs.
Additionally:
* You may pack solid cosmetics and personal hygiene items in either carry-on or checked baggage. This includes lipstick in a tube, solid deodorant, lip balm and similar solids.
* Electronic devices, such as cell phones, laptop computers and camera equipment, continue to be allowed in your carry-on luggage.
* All shoes must be taken off and put into a bin to pass through the X-ray machine. Gel inserts are prohibited, but shoes constructed with gel heels are allowed and must be removed and screened.
* Travelers are advised to arrive at the airport at least two hours in advance for domestic flights and two and a half for international flights.
* These restrictions will remain in place until further notice from the TSA. |

Yes, as long as it's less than 100ml and in a clear plastic bag. |

I just got back from traveling and you are allowed to have your gel and solution but it has to be in your checked luggage not in your carry on bags. You could always double check by calling the airport you are flying out of. |

On board the aircraft you can take liquids up to 100ml,the container must be no bigger than 100ml. Heathrow web site is www.baa.com
'Liquids' include sprays, lotions, drinks, jams, food stuff ie soup etc.
My advice is just take what you need for the flight in your 100ml bottles(or under) and pack the rest(larger quantities of liquids) padded out well into your hold luggage.
Hope this helps.
All liquids bought in the departure lounge have come from a bonded warehouse, therefore the DFT&airport owners sanction this because all items going airside are checked/x-rayed,thus there has not been any tampering of these goods -i beleive they are looking for bombs/threats to the aircraft -(proofreadergirl)with respect to you,im not tryin to be funny! |

Follow TSA's guidance, no more than 3oz, in a 1 qt zip lock bag.
You should be fine. |

Chris

In your case, not in hand luggage |
