No, but if your sitting in first class and the pilot comes out to go to the bathroom, sometimes you can get a quick glimpse from your seat.
But, no, your not allowed to go visit them or pretend to fly or anything. Especially after 9-11.
Sorry.
Hope this helps! :) |

In the United States, no. However, you can visit the cockpit before or after the flight, with the permission of the pilots. Some countries allow the cockpit door to remain open in flight and allow pilots to bring guests into the cockpit. Entering the cockpit in flight normally requires a lot of advance authorizations from various parties.
In the USA, a pilot can bring some one into the cockpit if he has a very good reason to do so (as in an emergency), but he'll generally have to justify it to the FAA and the airline afterwards—bringing someone in just for a visit isn't normally an acceptable justification. |

Prior to 9/11, passengers (typically children or first class passengers) were occasionally allowed to visit the cockpit.
It is now a restricted area and loitering outside or attempting to enter the cockpit is unlawful. |

I could quote the exact section for the FAR/AIM(the rule book from the FAA for pilots) but i don't want to take all that time...Lets just say that this book wakes the unabridged Bible look like an easy read. |

not after 9/11. You can't go anywhere near the cockpit. It is secured with some sort of door probably out of some metal. Before 9/11 you could probably go see the pilot. Thank your islamic buddies |

Prior to hijacking it was allowed. Today in our post 911 years its no longer possible. I'm a pilot and it used to be fun to bring kids up to the cockpit during flight. Its just a different world now. |
