Well, I went on a flight and my iPod was my hero :] You can use your iPod after take off, when they say (not during take off) Phones and Laptops must be on airplane mode (and can't be on during take off). Unfortunately, you're not going to be able to make calls or do any type of communication as they interfer with the navigation up front. |

Yes you can take cell phones, iPods and laptops on-board planes, but you cannot use cell phones, and internet connection on laptops, as this may interfere with the planes computers and electronics, as for iPods, you can use these as they have no internet connection so therefore cannot interfere with the airplanes systems. You cannot answer cell phones as i explained earlier and also because they are supposed to be turned off.
But do not use any of these items at take off and landing.

yeah you can use them, just as long as your phone is off or on flight mode.. not sure about laptops but you can definitely bring ipods.

ipods and laptops can be used on a plane but phones aren't allowed to be used. you have to turn them off before take off but you can turn them on again when you land. it is because the signal might interfere with something and make the plane crash or something else bad |

cellphone cant be use while inflight laptop yes but cant use wireless card it has to be disabled while in the air and ipod can be used after above 10,000 feet hope this helps bye |

(in the USA security is a bit over the top so you can have problems at security) |
