I think you have to declare anything over 10k . But you can bring as much as you want. No one can tell you how much money you can or can not bring. However, if you are coming back from the Cayman Islands with a briefcase full of cash you might raise a few eyebrows in the airport. |

The best way is transfer it bank to bank. Or open a US Dolloar checking account from where you are and bring the check back home. |

Legally you can take as much as you want, but you have to declare anything over $10,000. (I'm not sure what you have to do to officially declare it, probably just fill out a form or something). And you might raise suspicions if you're carrying tons of cash with you |

You can bring as much as you want but you MUST declare it if it's over 10 thousand or they get suspicious.
If it's even say 3 - 5 thousand, I would declare it to them, to be on the safe side. |
