Well, i havent heard anything about that law, so as of now, you still can travel state to state without your passport, just your ID |

No Passport is needed in to travel from the US to another US City/State.
Nor is it that you will need one later (next year)
We are not a communist state, can you just see it "Your Papers Please der Comrad".
Makes me think of East Germany or Russia |

Strange, I think I've heard something to that effect somewhere myself...like needing a passport if you travel to Hawaii or Alaska or something. BUT as of right now, like errbody here said... you do NOT need a passport to travel inside the US!! |

Well, as long as you have proper identification, i.e. driver's license, you should be able to travel from state to state. |

You do not and will never need a passport to fly between the 50 US states, US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and Guam. |

We have not yet made the leap to Police State (though that's the trajectory).
But don't give our quaking, fearful, cowardly leadership any bright ideas. |

You need a photo ID of US origins, or a passport |

I have not heard that rule. Why would they make you have a "United States Passport" to travel withing the states? That would mean that the airports would have to reconfigure everything, hire more immigration officers to check the millions of passengers flying everyday. |

If that ever happens I will be leaving this country!
Although Bush is trying to make this a communist country or a dictatorship. |
