if it is fixable it will be sold to an airline like one of the African airlines who have only a couple of planes to there name,{they have a portacabin as an office at heathrow] and that is a fact, it will be painted in there colours and disapear into ablivion so as not to scare anybody, either that or it will be used for spare parts, whichever way it will be very safe to use with no risk to anybody. |

uh huh huh

It's amazing how much they can repair, but I don't think that will be flying again. Excellent professionalism from all the crew and pilots.....Well Done to all |

?

narrr they gotta write it off and use it for parts. |

It will probably be written off as a total loss even though it could be repaired......the cost to repair the aircraft will probably exceed the cost of replacing the airplane with a new one. |

Hello,
(ANS) I think this specific BA 777 is a total write off, it will be covered by the companies insurance policy and it wont be flying again carrying passengers.
To use it again would involve rebuilding the entire aircraft which is probably now not economic under the circumstances. It might possibly be rebuilt if its covered by the makers warranty?? I would think the makers of the aircraft & Rolls Royce who make the engines will be very worried & upset by this incident.
**Or this mystery crash landing could be down to a failure in the aircrafts maintenance, it was in for maintenance last month I believe?
kind Regards Ivan |

It would suggest that it has suffered category 5 damage, beyond economic repair. |

It will be sold to Ryanair "as seen". Mr O'Leary will renew the rubber band, tape the wings back on, and it will be flying out of Prestwick by the end of next week. |

the plane would have to be a write off. BA would never risk customer safety by using that plane. |
