you can take the pet on board as long as its muzzled and in a carrier that can fit under the seat (or in the one next to you if you want to buy a ticket). bigger animals are put in with the luggage. which, by the way, is horrible for the animal since its loud and dark down there.

There are very particular guidelines about the carrier that you must put the dog in, it has to be a certain width, height and length. You will also have to pay extra, it's usually like $50 or more.

u can fly with them if they are under the plane in the luggage compartment in a cage, some airlines will allow u to travel with ur pet in the cabin if the pet is small and it's really up to the airline's discretion.
