Always, Always, Always purchase tickets directly from the airline. Going through on line discount companies will only cause unnecessary stress. I cannot tell you how many passengers I have spoken to who have has their reservations "lost", connections messed up, and many other problems due to dealing with these companies. It may cost a little more, but in the long run it is worth it.

Find out which airlines use your targeted airports,

www.flightarrivals.com

Make sure you select "airport/city."

Then go to the individual relevant airline's web site and enter your details. Try and select an airline common to all airports.

I have found that the airlines' own web site is, in the main, the cheapest. Also, in the event of any difficulties, they are more likely to look after you.

The website www.travelzoo.com usually has some good deals...they post new specials every wednesday. You might want to check that. Any site is probably going to be a little expensive since it's not a round trip.

I'm looking into a multi-city also...i've found that priceline.com has the best deals. Travelocity.com is also good.
