Buying Airline tickets online???? HELP?

I found a cheap ticket to Seoul from Richmond, VA. It was only $508 one way trip. Now I read the terms and conditions and im a little confused. I was wondering once purchase the ticket for 508..which will be 613 including tax. When I go to the airport are they going to look at the ticket as being of worth or validate it. I mean that is very cheap. Its with United Airlines but I found the ticket on Airfare.com. If anyone can help...I would greatly apperciate it. Also how was your experence with purchasing tickets online?

once you paid you are on that flight even if the price goes up
you can print your boarding pass usually with 24 hours of the flight
or at the airport

I suggest you try the exact same itinerary on united.com and purchase it there. Keep in mind that on united.com, the fare that shows up is the total, with taxes already included. Whenever the price is the same, I always purchase directly from the airline.

I have never used the Airfare.com, however I have frequently used Orbits and Cheap Tickets. When you revisit the site and look up your itinerary it should say that it is confirmed. If this is the case you should have NO problems. I have gotten great deals and paid a lot less than others on the same flight by booking online - Read the Site regulations to get a better idea on what you can and cannot expect...

Good luck!!

When you check in at the airport, they wont look at the ticket and validate it. Once you bought the ticket, just check in as normal, they will give you your seat # and your boarding pass and you are on your way. I purchase all my ticket online, and had fly at least 5times in 6months. Have fun in Seoul.

just need id and passport and go to the check in place to check in your luggage and theyll give you your ticket and i always buy my plane tickets online i didnt know there was another way to buy them?

ctelly22
I always purchase airline tickets online and have never had a problem. a lot of airlines are offering cheaper fares because of the economy. People aren't traveling as much because of the recession. On your itinerary you should have a confirmation number for the airline. If you want to see if the ticket is valid go to the airlines website and put in your confirmation number. If you can bring up your flight info then its valid if not then you may need to call the company you booked with. You can also call the airline to verify.
