With some airlines you can book right up until the check in opens for that flight (and with a few you can book right up until 45 mins before the flight is due to depart)! Not all airlines over book - the charter companies and no frills airlines don't tend to the big scheduled airlines do but not as much as they used to. They won't hassle you anymore at check in or at security than they will anyway.

The only thing you do need to do is make sure that you get a print out of your booking as sometimes if you book close to the time you won't show up on the passenger manifest so you need to have a copy of your booking to show them. It is normally more expensive to book last minute but then again if you find a bargain and want to go why not!?!

You should be able to buy directly at the ticket counter. Beware if the flight is full you will be bumped to the next one and expect the price to be sky high.

Mom of 3
It's going to cost more, but yes.

Yes if there are available seats go to http://www.myexoticvacations.com/ and click on book travel. This website will give available seats and prices with tax included

BakChoy
yea but , its more expensive.

Paolo
of course u can, the on-line booking closes up for that particular flight right about when the check-in begins.

Issy L
they would really search you because you bought it last minute. if you see a lot of 0's at the bottom or S's you may be searched.

if there are seats available to be purchased. caution however, all airlines overbook every flight.

sometimes, some airlines don't allow purchase within a certain amount of hours, but you can always go to the airport

if there are open seats then you should be able to....but thats kind of pushing it on time....and youre going to end up spending way more than people who bought their tickets earlier.
