Can I book an airline ticket for someone else..how? |
I'm an admin assistant and I need to book 3 flights for a lady. She wants to know if i can book it, then forward the E-tickets on to her. Can I do this? I would be using my boss's credit card, so it won't be her name on the card. Please help me out... I don't want to ask my boss just yet and sound stupid.

The e-ticket information is sent to any e-mail address you want when you book a ticket. You can input your e-mail address and then forward the receipt/information to that person, or you can just input that person's e-mail address. |

TELL them how many people will be traveling.
Give them the NAMES of the travelers.
PAY FOR THE TICKET.

You can normally do this on most websites (ebookers, expedia etc). Sometimes you'll need faxed authorisation to use your boss's credit card, but you'll see that when you come to pay.
You may need the person travelling's full name, date of birth (and passport no if its overseas). |

I know that you can do it, because my aunt just did it for me. All she asked was how my name appeared on my debit card and my home address. The lady will need to swipe her debit card to get a print out of her tickets once she gets to the airport. Other than that, I think you can just enter the payment information as your boss' and when it asks you for the comfirmation email address, just use hers. The e-tickets will get sent to her. Again, I've never done it myself but my aunt just did it for me and she didn't have any problems. |

In case the lady is authorised to travel on company funds, yes you can. You can book in the lady's name directly, paying by your boss's credit card. The tickets will be issued in the lady's name. You can forward the e-tickets to the lady through mail. Just one word of caution, do not use this transaction for your personal benefit because all these transactions are recorded and traceable. |
