Of Course..There's no rule against bringing gum...Some airlines actually encourage you to bring gum...It helps your ears from popping on the plane. But its going to be very painful if you fall asleep in the middle of the air...You'll wake up with a sharp pain in your ears.

Yes you can. There are currently no restrictions to chewing gum, only on liquids and guns and sharp objects. And, most airport and airline personnel actually encourage bringing gum on your flight, since it helps your ears when landing.
