I suggest you put it into your check-in luggage. Unless you are travelling with just hand carry luggage. Be inform, that hair colour/dye consist of hydrogen peroxide (usually 6%) in water or a lotion base. The other package usually contains an ammonia solution of dye intermediates and preformed dyes—called couplers. The primary intermediates are ortho or para diaminobenzenes, aminohydroxybenzenes, and to a lesser extent dihydroxybenzenes that develop color on oxidation.
Some carriers prohibit this products to be carried onboard in your hand luggage. Hence, please check with the respective carrier's or place it in your check-in luggage. |

Hair dye is no different than any other liquid. You can take it in a carry-on bag if it is 3 ounces or less and you pack it in a plastic bag. If it is more than 3 ounces, it will be confiscated. It does not matter if it is unopened.
If it is too large, just pack it in a watertight plastic bag (to protect your clothes in case the container leaks) and put it in your checked bag. |

All liquids need to be in a clear plastic zip lock bag and under 3 oz to be carried on. If it is over 3oz you will not be able to get on the plane with it, regardless of if it is in an unopened package or not. You can put it in your suitcase if you are checking that in. |

NOT if it is more than 3 oz or 100ml.
And if it deemed "corrosive" due to the hydrogen peroxide. |
