I suggest that you visit http://www.tsa.gov/ they have the complete list of items that you can and can not bring on the aircraft as well as specific packing instructions on how to pack your carry on luggage.
Have a great trip! |

Put the items in a clear plastic bag and take it out of your carry on when going through security x-rays. This goes for toothpaste (travel size), lip balm, etc. That way the security staff will see it out of the travel bag and will check it, most likely you will pass without problems. The problem is when you leave it inside the carry on. |

TSA has a new 3-1-1 rule. Liquids must be 3 oz or less. They must all be in a one quart sized zip-lock bag and you are allowed one such bag. Present this bag separately for screening. |

First two answerers need to actually learn things to be able to post.
The others did a good job of answering.
Specifically to your situation, if your stick is truly a solid (white) stick, then it's exempted from the baggie rule. Your hair putty, though, will have to be in a container less than 3oz and in the baggie. |

you sure can if you have a quart sized clear resealable bag and the liquids pasts or gels or any thing that is a consistency that is not a solid is in that bag and marked as 3.4 oz or less, the bag has to go into the x-ray by it self and you should be good to go. you should got to www.tsa.gov the have all the updated info and the reasons behind it |

Check the airline, the airport, and the news. The news always, I think, bring everything up to date about airport security and such. But I always say, when in doubt, leave it out.. Happy traveling to you! I'll be traveling myself soon as well, let me know how it goes, k! |
