You can use it one way but you may want to ask them why the price is so much cheaper. They may have made a mistake that they'll want you to pay for if they catch it.
$200 for a round trip ticket seems extremely cheap to me. |

Yes, you can skip the return flight, but not the departure. |

Of course you can use it only one way! Go for it! |

You are not supposed to use it to go only one way. I'm not sure if there are any laws against it, but I know the airlines don't like you doing it - though people do it all the time. Just don't mention it to anyone at the airline that you don't plan to use the return portion. Otherwise they may refuse to sell you the ticket or let you on the plane. |

Sure, I've heard of that on the news. Airline pricing can get pretty crazy nowadays. |

Can you skip your flight? Of course you can. Your seat will just go to someone on standby.
You may even be able to cancel the return flight in advance and keep the credit for a future flight, minus whatever charges that may apply. |

Absolutely, the Airline police aren't going to track you down and put a gun to your head to board the plane. I have done it several times! |

Yes, but ONLY if you use the first leg and simply don't show-up for the return flight. Do Not tell anyone that you plan to do so because that will create a security risk. |

Sure, how are they gonna know that you didn't just get sick or something and missed your flight. Besides, I'm sure ther's no small print that says 'you must, under all circumstances, ride this plane back to your starting point.' |

I would just do it if I were you. They can't arrest you for not riding on their plane can they? |

Not a problem to only use the first part of your ticket. It may be difficult to give away the return portion of the ticket since most tickets these days are not transferable, though.
However, be sure about the flight & pricing info. You may be getting all your info on-line, but when I want accurate information, I still call up the toll-free customer service line for the airline I want to fly. Keep in mind that if you actually BOOK your ticket thru an airline's agent, they'll probably charge you $15 because you're speaking with a real, live human. But there's no charge to just call them up and ask them a question. . .you can still always book on-line. |

no not at all but try offering the ticket to someone who may need the flight home |
