Heck I'm not sure. Call the airline company and ask. On my last trip by plane they took my "White Out" bottle away saying it was against the rules. They have gone way to far!

I've never known an airline to refuse to let you take something like this (unless you plan to toss it around while flying-in which case they would probably take it away till you landed) You could always call the airline & ask.

It would be best to call the Airline and ask. You could deflate it
and pack it, but these days you never know.

Sure I have never heard of rules against footballs on planes and yes it would be easier to transport deflated.
