You are able to take food stuffs, such as chocolate and nuts onto a plane. |

yep you sure can. just try to consume it (which shouldnt be too hard:) ) during the flight cos some countries have strict custom regulations for the kind of food you can bring into the country e.g. australia. |

Oh yeah that is fine. As long it not a chocolate spread, because that would be considered a liquid. Check www.tsa.gov for a complete list of what's allowed. |

Only plants/flowers and live animals are really sticky. Chocolate with nuts is no biggie. I've been traveling for 25 years, have been all over the world, and haven't had any issues with chocolate/nuts. However, if you are going to Singapore, be aware that you cannot bring chewing gum into the country. |

There shouldnt be any problem, but I would have it in a sealed package. I was just in Scotland and was able to bring back candy in my carry on with no problem. |

No food is allowed. They will give you free drinks and food. |

Yes, but certain foods have to be in containers of 3 oz. or less.
Check here:

Be aware that airport rules are different on your return flight. The TSA rules are only for flights departing from the US.
ADD: sorry, I just re-read your question, and you're asking about checked baggage. Yes, you can check chocolate. |

You sure can. I took a bag of cheez-its with me on my flight to Seoul and didn't have any problems. Keep it safely tucked in your carry-on and you should be fine. |
