It depends on the country. In most places yes, but in some places in the 3rd world, no |

Yes a married woman can be a flight attendant, and an "older" woman can be a flight attendant. Just like any other job, it is illegal to designate an age when one is too old to work because it qualifies as age discrimination. |

you can be married and be a flight attendant. A lot of the old sexest requirements ahve been pushed back. |

yes, gay men are flight attendants, older women are flight attendants.. it's just a job. It's not a 'sexy' image thing like it was back in the 60s.. |

I don't think that they can discriminate based on marital status or age.... |

I'm a former Flight Attendant. I was hired by people who were married, straight, gay, parents and all ages. The oldest now-hires we had were in their early 60's.
American companies can't discriminate on basis of age, sex, martial status, ethnic background or sexual orientation. Flight Attendants can work until retirement age.
Other countries have different rules. Some wont allow married women to get the job, but sometimes will allow them to get married and keep flying. Then again, they may allow married women but make them stop flying as soon as they're pregnant (one of my coworkers lost her job with her former employer, only to then lose the pregnancy and they wouldn't take her back!) Other airlines have age limits for both hiring and retirement.
Just check with the airline you're applying to. They will not hide this information.
Good luck! |

It depends on airlines hiring policy. Some cabin attendants declare marital status after being hired by the airlines, 18 to 24 years age acceptable. |
