Canaries is best bet if your on a budget, sunshine almost guaranteed. Would choose one of the following;
Tenerife, either Playa de las Americas or Los Cristianos both great for couples more life in Las Americas but less hassle in Los Cristianos.
Lanzarote, (Puerto del Carmen) Lanzarotes biggest and most popular resort, good nightlife, lots of activities. Not been there for a few years but last time I went found it to be like Las Americas but on a smaller scale, also much cleaner. Be warned it's can get a little windy there hence it's title the windy isle. However this can be refreshing when it gets too hot.
Gran Caneria (Play Del Ingles).Second biggest resort in Europe next to Benidorm (At least that's what the rep said on the bus last time I went). Great for nightlife and shopping, Know to be very popular with the gay community, but don't let this put you off.
Not been to Fuerteventura myself, but told it's great if your into water-sports and beaches.
Hope this helps |

Cyprus would be a great place to go - Warm, loads to see and no crowds. Online you can find a 3 bedroom villa for £249 per week. A prettty good price when you think that for 6 bods that's £42 per person for a week's holiday. OK so you've got to find flights but an idea.
Search google for cyprus villa offers. |

Northern Cyprus. I now live here and it's wonderful. Much cheaper than the South, the Turkish Cypriots are very nice, the weather will be fantastic and it's beautiful.
Beats the South of the island hands down.
I can help you if you want. |

Ask your travel agency prices information about "Mauritius"
October is the beginning of our summer season.Temperature
may vary between 18/20 degrees at night time and 27/29 at day time..
I am referring to the temperatures on the coast.October is known to be the driest month with April.
The Cyclonic season starts in December,so you do not have to worry about them.
You are welcomed for more information..
We are ,usually, friendly people
I am talking about Celsius Degrees. |

Im half greek, so first on the list would have to be greece. Turkey (along their western mediterranean coast) is also lovely. Also Sicily in Italy would still be warm. Happy holidays |

Canary Islands are a safe bet and good if you're working to a budget too.
Lanzarote is best because although lively, not AS lively as the others. Fuerteventura is a bit too quiet for me, but if thats what you like then you're quids in!
Don't forget the postcard!! |

Well, Hawaii is always a nice place. but if it is October, isn't it summer in Australia? So yes go to Australia but don't get stinged by a stingray or eaten by sharks. |

Egypt and Tunisia are always good at this time of year if you fancy something a little different. I managed to get a last minute deal last year for a 5 star hotel in Egypt - "all inclusive" for only £300pp pw. Definitely worth checking out the last minute deals on your high street. |

Most certainly Egypt. You are guaranteed that it will be around the 70's in Cairo, 80-100+ in luxor, and 100+ further north, Aswan etc. Do a cruise trip down the Nile...smashing! Oh and the beer (their own Stella) is fan-dabby-dozy too. From a non-drinking person normally. |

The Bahamas or anywhere in that vicinity. It's cheaper than you think and i suggest Cuba as a good place. |

If you are looking to still catch a bit of heat, then somewhere like Tunisia or Morocco will still be very pleasant (I should think you could sunbathe still). Turkey will still be hot too, and probably very cheap, considering the recent bombing there.
The southern Greek Islands such as Crete will still be very pleasant as well, or if you have a bit more money, go to Sicily. The country is amazing, simply hire a car and explore the island, there is something to see round every corner.
If you are not so bothered about the hot weather, how about somewhere like Iceland, or Norway, or maybe a city break like Prague or Paris?
October is a great time to go away, things are a lot cheaper, the places won't be swamped with tourists, and you can still get good enough weather.
Have fun! |
