Sure you can, a laptop bag is only for your protection, the airline could care less if you scratch or drop your laptop. You are allowed one carry-on bag (usually no more 45 linear inches, Heigth+Width+Length) plus a purse or laptop. You can put your laptop in your carry-on suitcase and still have one purse, or your laptop and a purse, or a carry-on and your laptop but no purse, now are you getting it?

You can take your laptop and your purse but your laptop will have to be put under your seat durring take off and landing and without the case it will get banged up so I would go to target and get a cheap one.

You still can bring your laptop without the bag and you can bring your purse, laptop and a carry on. Just put your laptop in your carry on bag after security.

You will still have to put your laptop in a separate bin though (when you go through security)

DemonSlayer06
yes you can it is no big deal i call the dfw airport here about 12:50 am in asks them was it all right what you ask here in they said no problem in you wont get fined either ?

andrew n were did you get your info from bro my guess is you dont know what your talking about for one about getting a fine you must of been thinking about something else huh lol but no biggie it happen to us all

What I use is a backpack that can carry a laptop, so then I could technically carry a purse too if I wanted to. Allot of Swatch backpacks have that capability.

They usually allow you to carry a labtop bag, as long as nothing else is in it, i guess? you don't really need a backpack case but it would be better too you know so it protects it, if you don't have a special labtop bag, then just carry a backpack or big handbag that lets it fit.

having it in a laptop bag would just help you carry it.
but its really up to you whether or not you want to put it in a bag or not.

Very risky to bring a laptop w/out a case. You may damage it or worse... someone might steal it!!!

yes but you will have to pay a fine

Safety!
It'll be fine. I mean, come on. This is basic math, one carry-on, and one personal item. And you have a purse, and a laptop.

you know what, nevermind. try taking it on and hope they wont shoot your face off.
