Almost all major airlines now have TVs mounted on the seats, but if you want live TV you will need to fly Jet Blue,Frontier, plus there are several others offering satellite TV now. The others just offer recorded movies or TV shows.

The trend is moving towards all airlines having in-seat televisions, especially for long haul flights. One has to be somewhat careful however, as some airlines have personal TVs throughout their fleet whereas others only have them on selected aircraft.

If you are traveling within the US, then JetBlue is your best bet for guaranteeing a TV. If you are flying abroad, then it depends on where you are flying to.Generally, airlines like Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Virgin Atlantic, Emirates, have personal TVs fleet-wide.

Jetblue

Jet Blue has tv on all seats on all its aircraft. American does not -- American, United and Delta have tv on select flights usually international routes or high density routes. Example - Miami - DFW B777 service or JFK - London B777 service.
It does not specify if you are looking to travel domistic or international, so I hope this answer helps.
