I would call and ask your airline, but I think you would need a state issued ID to pass security checkpoints. |

The TSA has recently changed its rules.
Your school ID should be enough; however, if it isn't, they will ask you to step aside, fill out a form, and do a database search. It should take about five minutes. |

Every single answer that has mentioned that a government-issued identification is required is incorrect. The TSA does not require passengers under the age of 18 to present identification at the security checkpoint, as is clearly stated in the link below. Your school ID is more than sufficient -- I'd take it with you, but you don't need anything else. |

if you are under 18 you are not required to have an ID
But I would bring your school ID with you just to be on the safe side.
If you are over 18 you will need a drivers' license |

no it has to be a government issued picture ID...drivers license, passport, etc. If you're not old enough for a license or don't want to wait for a passport...you can go to your local DMV and get a picture ID, relatively cheap if not free |

Nope, government issued PHOTO ID. Not even any government ID.
License, State ID card, Immigration document with a picture, passport etc. |

yeah. an ID card is somthing that prove you are who you say you are. like you might be someone named john that just stole tickets of somone named Paul. so you would need an ID that says your name and stuff and picture i think |

No, you need a government issued ID card. Or if you're under 18 one of your parents can check you in. |

if you are under 18 there is a chance that it works, as a minor your should, however if you are over the age of 18 I don't see it working. If you are leaving with a parent it should have no issues as long as they claim as their own. However, if your leaving by yourself it may bring problems |

It depends on if you are still in high school/ you age. You are required by the state to have an official ID after you turn 18. Usually people just use their Drivers Liscence but Residential IDs are also available. |
