I fly frequently for business. You must turnoff all electrical devices at takeoff and liftoff (below 10,000 feet), they will announce when you can use them. You cannot use your cell phone at all unless it has an airplane mode, which means it does not connect to a signal. Technically you should still be able to get a signal in the air, but cell phone use is prohibited and will conflict with the instruments the pilot is using, so personally, I wouldn't try it.

You can use a laptop above 10,000 feet, but must turn off its wireless antenna. They should announce all of this on the plane. You can also use mp3 players/video games/etc above 10,000 feet.

Also when you're carrying on a laptop, you must place it through the x-ray machine separately from the rest of your luggage. If you don't and they catch that you have a laptop, they'll test it for a bomb. Not a big deal, just takes a few more minutes and you might get the rest of your luggage searched.

You can take your laptop on the plane but you can't use the wireless part of it. And you're not allowed to use your cell phone during the flight.

Laptop yes, only at designated times, cell phones, well they say they interfere with other tech. however in hospitals they really don't, it's just rude.

You can carry a laptop onto a plane, but I doubt you can access Internet service. At present using a cell phone on a plane while it's in the air is still not allowed (thank God and I hope it stays that way).

I,m not a 100% sure you should call the air line and ask .
You would be very dissapointed to go to airport and get ticket then they wouldnt let you on.
Check all the no-nos before booking a flight. Better be safe than sorry.

you can have a laptop but you have to disable the wireless on it, and no cellphones are not aloud to be used

You can bring you laptop on the plane, but you have to turn it off when they tell you to. You may not use your cell phone; it has to be turned off.

i was just on a plane and you can be on a cell phone as long as its not when you are taking off or landing and yes you can bring a laptop. yes you get service, because the signals come from satellites

for the laptop you can and you can use it when the seatbelt sign is off and for the cellphone you aren't allowed
