Only crew, or those who work for the airline but are flying as passengers, and family of the crew are allowed in the cockpit.
There are certain circumstances where a captain will allow a normal passenger to sit in the cockpit but these are extreme cases, as it poses a security threat.
If you want to see some pics from a cockpit, I put some up on one of my blogs from the last flight I took with my husband.

As for meeting the pilots, many times the first officer and/or captain stand just outside the cockpit to greet passengers just as the hostesses do. You can meet them then. If they aren't there, inform a hostess that you would like to meet the captain and first officer and they will do their best to arrange that for you if they (the captain and first officer) aren't too busy. |

You can peek your head in the cockpit before they close the boarding door, but once you are inflight the cockpit is off limits. |

Generally not, especially in flight. However, since 11/9 I've been in a few cockpits AFTER arrival at the gate with the engines shut down. BA let me do this a couple of times.
I have heard that certain Air France pilots have allowed people into the cockpit since 11/9. |

I would say you'd only be allowed to do this on a private plane or a small charter plane. If you want a video then you should contact the airline about this, but don't be surprised if the answer is "No". |

Meet the cockpit?? But no, you can't. They shut that door for a reason. |

No they wont let you in the cockpit, you need TSA clearance and what not to get in there, and the videos are taken by the pilots, they stick a camera on the windsheild or dashboard usually. |
